A tourist spot in Bali which is famous for its beaches, also a paradise for water sport activities such as banana boat rides, scuba diving, parasailing, rolling donut, sea walker, flying fish, snorkeling etc. In addition, there are sailing into Turtle Island where living and captive tortoise, snake, Bali starlings, and so on. Tanjung Benoa is known as a center for marine tourism in Bali.
It is the newest beach, a 20 minutes drive from Garuda Wisnu Kencana has been developed by Badung Regency in Kutuh Village, South Kuta District which formerly known as ‘secret beach’ because lays behind the two cliffs with poor access with seaweed farming. Now the stunning panorama with serene and quiet atmosphere can be accessed easily through 1.5 kilometers flanking cliff cut road by big buses, but the beautiful of white sandy and clean beach which suitable for swimming is not secret anymore. Paragliding can be done at Timbis Hill, not far away from the Pandawa Beach.There are no hotel or condotel in the beach and access road area, because there are reluctancy from Kutuh people
The temple is built at the edge of a 70 meter high cliff or rock projecting into the sea.In folklore, this rock is said to be part of Dewi Danu’s petrified barque.Though a small temple was claimed to have existed earlier, the structure was significantly expanded by a Javanese sage, Empu Kuturan in the 11th Century. Another sage from East Java, Dang Hyang Nirartha is credited for constructing the padmasana shrines and it is said that he attained moksha here, an event called ngeluhur (“to go up”) locally. This has resulted in the temple’s epithet Luhur.
Fishing village, very famous for the fresh seafood. The bay itself has a pleasant white sand beach and is very safe for swimming. The three clusters of grilled seafood restaurants on the beach are a major tourist draw in the evenings, as is the truly stunning sunset.
